Trader Joe's Tangy Turtles

We have sold our share of exotic foods as Traders on the culinary seas, but we’ll bet you never thought we’d be selling sea turtles. Well, we are. Only, Trader Joe’s Tangy Turtles don’t actually come from the sea; they come from Germany, home of some of the yummiest gummies!

Our Tangy Turtles have foamy-looking, white bodies underneath, with a shell on top that looks a bit like a summer pool toy, including the hole in the middle. Three vibrant color combinations (red/orange, yellow/green, and magenta/purple), come only from naturally derived products, including vegetable and fruit juices. And the craveable, crystalline exterior comes from… sugar! (These are candies, after all.) Each bite is soft, chewy, and fruity, with natural flavors that include lemon, black currant, apple, blueberry, cherry, and passion-peach. And true to their title, each bite is also Tangy, with just enough tart to tastefully tickle your tongue.
