Okay, we admit that Socrates definitely didn’t say that, but our product developers probably did when they dreamed up the mezze marvel known as Trader Joe’s Olive Tapenade Hummus. In the center of each tub lies a just-right amount of briny Olive Tapenade made with black olives, manzanilla olives, capers, and olive oil. Not to be outshined by its piquant partner, the Hummus base is special in its own right. With twice the tahini of traditional hummus, it’s especially smooth and nutty with complementary sweet and savory flavors. Mix both spreads together, and you have a bold, balanced Olive Tapenade Hummus that’s sure to get a smile out of even the biggest of stoics.
